Who We Are
Ronald Piaseczny
President
Co-founder and President of Niagara Pride. Ronald has a long history of being a mental health counselor and EEO professional. He has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ issues for over 20 years in WNY. In 2020, Ronald won the Community Service award from GLYS WNY and in 2023, he won the embraceWNY Community Service Award, both for outstanding achievement in advancing LGBTQ+ issues through education and advocacy as well as community service to help LGBTQ+ individuals in the WNY area.
Justin F. Garrow
Secretary
Justin grew up in Niagara Falls, NY and then lived in Baltimore, MD for 20 years before moving back to the Falls in 2023. He worked in School Age Programming for two decades. Justin had the honor to serve as a Commissioner on the Baltimore City Mayor's Office LGBTQ Commission as Education Chair.
Sherry Lee Fossett
Programming Chair
Sherry is retired from US Customs and Border Protection after 30 years as an Import Specialist. Her service was in the US Air Force Reserves 914th in Niagara Falls and she retired after 23 years of service.
Pat Bradley
Board Member
Pat has more than 30 years of experience in the communications field as a public relations professional and award winning journalist. He is a senior contributing reporter for the Niagara County Tribune/Sentinel and an ordained Episcopal deacon.
Edyta Chorostkowska
Board Member
Edyta is new to the Board as of 2024 and is excited to work with the team to expand the social events and programming offered to the LGBTQ+ community in Niagara County and beyond. She gained experience with event planning and community engagement by collaborating with her wife, Jessica Berry, over the last 15+ years on projects and in her own professional career with various public and private entities as an environmental scientist. As a resident of Niagara Falls, NY, Edyta would like to bring visibility to our organization and create events in our County for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies.
Chris Phillips
Board Member
Chris Phillips is an at-large member of the Board of Directors, first joining the organization in March of 2021. Outside of Niagara Pride, Chris works at the Center for Elder Law & Justice, where he provides free civil legal services to older adults and under-served individuals throughout Western New York. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors for the Western New York Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
Jenn Tuccio
Board Member​
Jenn is new to the Niagara Pride board and is excited to use her skills and experience with grassroots organizing to help grow the group and bring people together. She grew up in Jamestown, NY and has lived in the Virginia and Vermont before moving to Tonawanda in 2009. She currently works as a project manager and has spent time as a grassroots field organizer in Vermont and an audio engineer for a software company. Jenn loves learning new things and meeting new people – so many things out there to learn about!
