Pride In Our Community

Starting in May 2024, Niagara Pride launched a monthly tv show to educate and share information about issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community, resources in Niagara County and WNY, and to showcase LGBTQ+ affirming programs and services in our area.

In honor of LGBTQ+ History month for our October episode, Niagara Pride sat down with two local living legends, Kitty and Cheryle Lambert-Rudd to discuss the impact their work has had on LGBTQ+ civil rights as well as chat about their historic marriage in Niagara Falls…making them the first legally married LGBTQ+ couple in NYS!

For Pride month, we sit down with local children's book author, Colleen Fritz Budniewski to discuss her recently released book, My First Ponytail.  We also tackle the important issue to sexual wellness, HIV/STIs, and local resources for testing and PrEP with Jill Morrissey from the Niagara County Department of Health.
