Interfaith Pride Worship Service
Date & Time: June 27, 2021 – 2pm
Description: In recognition of Pride month, Niagara Pride sponsored an LGBTQ affirming interfaith church service at Oppenheim Park, Shelter #4, located at 2713 Niagara Falls Blvd.
Participants included:
* Rev. Susan Frawley (Unitarian Universalist)
* Rev. Michael Keicher (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)
* Rev. Patrick Bradley (Episcopalian)
* Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch (Presbyterian)
* Monk D. Wilkes Alexander (Buddhist)

Each of the clergy read an inspirational work, including scripture, that is meaningful to their religious tradition, and offer prayers and blessings to the attendees and LGBTQ community.


The Numbers Behind Pride: Why Pride Celebrations Are Still Needed
Date & Time: March 28, 2021 – 11am
Description: Despite increases in LGBTQ visibility in the media and recent legal victories, there continue to be disparities in a number of important areas, such as employment, healthcare, mental health, and the law, where LGBTQ individuals, families, and youth fall short compared to their non-LGBTQ counterparts. This presentation will showcase some of those areas and demonstrate that continued need for celebrating Pride.
